Not quite. Many gyms actually offer guest passes or drop-in class passes but don’t make it commonly known. Facilities like YMCA offer day passes that start around $10/day. Fee info will be listed on the class calendar.
Many facilities have age requirements. Typically, minimum class age is 12 unless accompanied by an adult. Some gyms offer childcare (like the YMCA). Feel free to reach out to us if you have specific questions.
In 2019, several of us from the Lancaster YMCA attended the annual Zumba Instructor Network conference in Orlando, FL. We came up with the name TT&WP as an homage to our Central PA roots and our various body shapes as a hashtag to chronicle our adventures on social media.
The name stuck.
NO! You do NOT have to be a dancer. You can have two left feet, go the wrong way, and make ALL THE MISTAKES. No one is here to be a Rockette. We dance to move our bodies and have a good time, and TT&WP instructors make it our mission to create a safe, comfortable place to BE YOURSELF.
TT&WP instructors often throw special event classes for fundraisers, holidays, and for the heckin’ joy of it. We love working with our local communities to bring movement and joy to Central PA.
Zumba® combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba® routines incorporate interval training cardiovascular fitness.
CENTRE’D is a ballet-inspired dance fitness workout. We tone and strengthen muscles with slow, repetitive movements. Leave the tights and tutus in the closet…no ballet experience required!
MixxedFit® is a people-inspired dance fitness program that is a mix of explosive dancing and boot camp toning. Everything about MixxedFit® can be described as explosive – all of our movements are always big, exaggerated, full-out, and our very best.
